Elmo and Mimio

Today I am learning to use the Mobile cart and I am also installing new software for the Elmo and Mimio Connect boards. They are interactive boards that connected to the whiteboards in classes. Open for plenty of info and guide. Feel free to blog!Thanks

Day 3 Training Reflection

Today was pretty awesome!! It was a little tough, yet rewarding battling with Mrs. Martha! LOL!!! I learned important was to approach teachers and how to maintain a good image while presenting yourself before teacher, principals, etc..... We learned how the use the promethean board.  This board is very useful and creative as well as high tech and needful! We all enjoyed the board and look forward to working with it more.

Day 2 Reflection

Day 2 was very interesting and fun!!! I learned a lot and I also got a chance to meet new people.  The Movie Maker was quite interesting and I really enjoyed it.  Even though I hardly know everything to do.  I understood how important it was to share and listen to new ideas from others.  This is very important for any job.  It was definitely a 10 in my book!!

Reflecting of Training: Day 1

Training on day 1 was confusing and interesting.  I was very glad to learn new information that I believe may be useful in my everyday life.  I found out that it is very important to keep up with what Martha and Jenny talked about. Which in many cases, my group and I, was always behind. It brought great comfort to know that if I got confused that it would be Ok, because everybody was learning and eager to know the information.

DOT First Day

Daphne White: My goal is to learn how to use technology so that I can assist teachers, students, and/or my community for growth and development. I also understand that it will increase my desire to serve others (which is my life long goal).

Patrice Stewart: My goal as a DOT Intern is to use the information that I learn during training sessions to incorporate and make useful to teachers in their classrooms. After this internship , I plan to become employed at a company that requires me to use the skills and training I received as an DOT Intern.

Kenya Wilson: My goal is to successfully complete DOT and to use the with  information that I have learned in teach up in the school.
